About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer to own multi-chain integration and smart contract infrastructure for Coinbax’s stablecoin payment orchestration platform. You’ll build the systems that enable institutional clients to move value securely across blockchains.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement multi-chain transaction infrastructure, including smart contract escrow and cross-chain settlement mechanisms
- Build and maintain integrations with blockchain networks and node providers (Alchemy, etc.) across EVM chains and Solana
- Develop secure wallet infrastructure supporting institutional custody and compliance requirements
- Implement our 3-tier dispute resolution system and on-chain compliance mechanisms
- Partner with the API team to expose blockchain capabilities through our NestJS/TypeScript layer
- Evaluate and integrate MPC wallet solutions and cryptographic infrastructure
- Monitor protocol changes across supported chains and guide architectural decisions accordingly
What You Bring
- 5+ years of backend development experience with strong TypeScript proficiency
- 2+ years of hands-on blockchain development—smart contracts, chain integrations, or wallet infrastructure
- Experience with EVM chains and ideally Solana
- Understanding of consensus mechanisms, transaction lifecycles, and gas optimization
- Familiarity with institutional requirements: security, auditability, compliance
- Comfort operating in an early-stage environment with ambiguity and rapid iteration
Nice to Have
- Experience with stablecoin protocols or payment systems
- Understanding of MPC, multi-sig, or advanced custody solutions
- Background in fintech or financial services
- Experience with GCP, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools
