  • Usage and analytics information — IP addresses, browser type, device information, and pages visited
  • Security logs — device fingerprints, geolocation data, and authentication patterns for fraud prevention

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under 16.

  • Communications — SendGrid for email delivery and Twilio for SMS notifications
  • Dispute Resolution — JAMS for arbitration services when disputes arise
  • Wallet Infrastructure — Turnkey for secure key management and transaction signing
  • Analytics and Marketing — Google Analytics, HubSpot, and similar platforms for website analytics and marketing
  • Cloud Infrastructure — Google Cloud Platform for hosting and data storage

5.2 Blockchain Networks

Transaction data processed through our Services is recorded on public blockchain networks (such as Base, Ethereum, and Solana). This data is publicly visible and cannot be deleted. See Section 5A below for more information.

5.3 Legal and Regulatory Disclosure

We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

We do not sell personal information.


5A. Blockchain Data Transparency

When you use Coinbax to process transactions on blockchain networks, certain data becomes part of the permanent public record:

  • On-chain data — Wallet addresses, transaction amounts, timestamps, and smart contract interactions are recorded on public blockchains
  • Immutability — Blockchain records cannot be modified or deleted once confirmed
  • Public visibility — Anyone can view transaction data on blockchain explorers
  • Pseudonymity, not anonymity — While wallet addresses are pseudonymous, they may be linked to identities through various means

By using our Services, you acknowledge that certain transaction data will be permanently and publicly recorded on blockchain networks, and that we cannot delete or modify this data.


6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law:

  • Transaction records — 7 years (regulatory compliance requirements)
  • KYC/Compliance documentation — 5 years after relationship ends
  • API access logs — 1 year
  • Webhook delivery logs — 30 days
  • Marketing data — Until you opt out or request deletion
  • Blockchain data — Permanently recorded on-chain (see Section 5A)

Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement purposes.


7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Withdraw consent for processing where applicable
  • Request details about how your data is handled

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.


9. International Visitors

If you access our Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. By using our Services, you consent to this transfer.

9.1 European Economic Area (EEA) Users

If you are located in the EEA, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance — Processing necessary to provide our Services
  • Legal obligations — Processing required for compliance with applicable laws (e.g., AML regulations)
