5A. Blockchain Data Transparency
When you use Coinbax to process transactions on blockchain networks, certain data becomes part of the permanent public record:
On-chain data — Wallet addresses, transaction amounts, timestamps, and smart contract interactions are recorded on public blockchains
Immutability — Blockchain records cannot be modified or deleted once confirmed
Public visibility — Anyone can view transaction data on blockchain explorers
Pseudonymity, not anonymity — While wallet addresses are pseudonymous, they may be linked to identities through various means
By using our Services, you acknowledge that certain transaction data will be permanently and publicly recorded on blockchain networks, and that we cannot delete or modify this data.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law:
Transaction records — 7 years (regulatory compliance requirements)
KYC/Compliance documentation — 5 years after relationship ends
API access logs — 1 year
